I chose the photo on the top right because it has the right features that will suite the codes and conventions of the front cover such as cover line, banner, promotional puff, masthead and anchorage text. It gives the right spacing and the colour scheme for the front cover.

Front cover

 I changed the mast head because the font is not suitable for the type of magazine which is teen film magazine.

I kinda changed the colour for the promotional puff. I made it red orange so it ties the the warmth motiff of the fonts and at the same time it contrast with the other font.

I edited the main image for further colour saturation and to enhance  the main cahracter in the movie AWKWARD. I blurred the background to focus more on the main character 's facial expression and to get rid of the clothes brand.

Content page

  My first attempt of designing my content page which is very simple and not yet well arrange to my full capability. The colour motiff is just black, making it just simple.

This second attempt is add colour in the CONTENT which is the same color of the anchorage text in the front cover. This can symbolize the meaning of consistent in the colour theme. And I added some extra graphics that I copied from the Empire mag.

My last edit on my content page, where I put the subscription section in a old school ticket logo that ties in my magazine which is film mag. I put it in the same color which is yellow to complete my colour scheme and make it more eye catching.

Double spread sheet

My first attempt to arrange the four columns of my double spread sheet and assign the typography in different section. I'd just put it all in black color font so that its easy to spot which is the heading, subheading and the body.

In my second progress, I organised some of the important information about the movie. In this part, I rearranged the fonts so that it will get the focus of audience which are teens and they won't get bored easily.  I put some famous names of the artist from the movie like Ed Sheeran and Halsey in the pull quote section so that the teen audience  can interact with the same songs and it grabs the attention of teen audience. 

My final one is where I put some colours in the font that associates in the theme of the magazine and the sticky notes effect which creates an impact for the teen audiences that uses some sticky notes, bold text that emphasizes the sub heading. The puff creates the impact of letting the teen audience when will the movie shown and where. I added the social media sites where the audience can interact with other audience about the movie.
